Proposal for the interior of a permanent expocenter for urban renewal projects in Antwerp, Belgium. Unfold was asked together with four other offices to formulate their ideas. There was need for a permanent exhibit space, lecture room and temporary exhibit space.

Since the entrance is located at one end of the room we decided to split the space in three long zones. One with the narrative of the permanent exhibit, located in 'the street'; one open space for temporary exhibits plus lounge with a flexible table system and a shorter one with the lecture room. These three zones where all accessible from the main entrance where the info point was located.

The street was a way to provide guidance in the old warehouse space which pack an amazing amount of columns, a way to see the forest for the trees.

We lost this competition with 1% point to B-Architecten, not bad at all.
