‘Kruiskop’ is a Dutch word joke. It literally means ‘cup with a cross’, but ‘kruiskop’ is also the word for a Philips screwdriver. Due to their shape – a mixture of a cross on the bottom and a circle at the top – these cups are ideal for a game of Tic-Tac-Toe at the breakfast table.
